Simple juice which helps to cleanse the body of toxins

4 oranges, rind taken off
1 grapefruit, rind taken off
½ inch ginger
1 apple (optional)
4 ice cubes

Juice the lot and enjoy!

Grapefruit contains vitamin C, beta-carotene, calcium, potassium, salicylic acid and pectin. It helps in breaking down and shifting inorganic calcium from the joints and is great at stimulating digestion.

Oranges are packed full of vitamins A, B6 and C, beta-carotene and folic acid. They also contain calcium, iron, phosphorus and zinc. They help in destroying free radicals that cause signs of skin aging, cleanse the intestine and flush out toxins from the body.

Ginger contains vitamin C, sodium, zinc, iron and magnesium. It is well known for its natural antibiotic and antibacterial properties, and is a great decongestant.
